The February roadmap makes clear that concerts will not be able to resume just yet but there are hopes for later in the year

Continuing lockdown rules mean that the Tara Minton Quintet who were booked to perform for us on 20th March won’t now be able to come.  However, we do hope it will be possible for the young musicians of the Royal College of Music Junior Department to be with us for a concert on 15th May.

Beyond that, the plan is, if all goes well, to launch a new season of concerts starting in September.  The musicians who were to have performed over the last twelve months will be approached again to see if dates can be re-scheduled. Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra, who played their first ever concert outside Hastings when they came to us between lockdowns, are keen to return.

The exciting concerts that we wanted to present last season may have been delayed but we are determined that they won’t be lost for ever.
