Ukraine Reborn  – A Concert of Words and Music on Sunday 2nd October 2022 at St Thomas’ Church Winchelsea

World-famous performers will be donating their talent to raise funds for the St Nicholas Hospital for Children in Lviv

Raphael Wallfish cello, with John York piano
Emilia Fox and Freddie Fox, narrators

This will be a concert of Hope – Rebirth and Reflection – expressed in music and words.  All funds raised will go direct to The St Nicholas Hospital for Children in Lviv, Ukraine. where they are desperately in need of a new operating theatre as well as vital equipment and medications.    The money will reach them via Action for Humanity (Registered Charity No 1154881) who will keep our funds separate and send them direct to Medical Aid Now who have been providing vital medications to Ukraine since the start of this cruel war.

Generous sponsors are covering the concert expenses so that all proceeds will go to the injured and traumatised children of Ukraine.   The St Nicholas Hospital for Children in Lviv is currently meeting trains from all over Ukraine where they are having to admit severely injured children from all over the country because their local hospitals have been hit by Russian missiles.   Many of them have lost limbs and have painful shrapnel wounds and burns, as well as being severely traumatised by what they have witnessed.
