Three dozen different exhibitors brought over 200 items for display at the Winchelsea Garden Society Autumn Show on 3rd September 2016.

Not only were there more entries than last year but members who had previously not shown before came forward and ‘had a go’ to great effect. It was really very inspiring to see the amount and quality of fruit, vegetables as well as flowers, a small community can produce, not forgetting some beautiful handicrafts, photographs and mouthwatering cookery. Congratulations to everyone. The raffle team were kept very busy as were the tea ladies and if the noise level was anything to go by, a happy time was had by all.  The prizes were given out by the Deputy Mayor, Cynthia Feast.
