A unique exhibition of photographs of Southern Africa’s beautiful landscapes and wildlife, by Winchelsea residents Ian Rowlands & Phil Mack.

 

Join us to meet the photographers, and to hear first-hand about their extraordinary 8,000 mile self-drive, unsupported expedition from Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, through Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia, to Cape Point in South Africa.

In spite of the rain, 270 intrepid visitors came to see Winchelsea’s Secret Gardens when they opened for the National Gardens Scheme in July 2017 and contributed over £1,600 to NGS nursing charities.  Added to the amounts raised at the NGS Winchelsea openings in April and June, this makes a total of over £7,500 for the year.
