The Millennium Artefacts Society staged yet another successful exhibition over the August Bank Holiday and is most grateful to all the artists who exhibited paintings, pottery, photographs and jewellery. 22 exhibits were sold and resulted in sales of £1,791. After fees, payments to artists and raffle sale, net proceeds to the Society amounted to £900. The Society is most grateful to the donors of the raffle prizes and to all those who assisted with the Exhibition.

This is an annual event and the funds raised are used to preserve and maintain the Town Sign, the Beacon and the Millennium Tapestry. All of these are looked after by Winchelsea Millennium Artefacts Society who organise the event.

The Society’s AGM will be held on Saturday 3rd December 2016 at 10am in the Lower Court Hall.
