Train services
Note: very limited services run to and from Winchelsea Station, which is about 1/2 mile from the town. Rye is the closest station with a regular service (about 2 miles from Winchelsea). The station was adopted by the town of Winchelsea and a group of volunteers look after the planters and provide general maintenance/tidying. The team have helped obtain a new ramp, new fencing, new lighting, noticeboards and safety cameras on the level crossing recording all vehicles crossing.
