Winchelsea Station

Train services 

Note: very limited services run to and from Winchelsea Station, which is about 1/2 mile from the town. Rye is the closest station with a regular service (about 2 miles from Winchelsea). The station was adopted by the town of Winchelsea and a group of volunteers look after the planters and provide general maintenance/tidying. The team have helped obtain a new ramp, new fencing, new lighting, noticeboards and safety cameras on the level crossing recording all vehicles crossing. In 2013 barriers are scheduled to be introduced.St Thomas' School  have produced artwork which is displayed on boards along the platform and roadside
